Conquering UK: Edinburgh, Scotland...Cold as Ice

I had 3 layers of tops inside my thick jacket, two scarves, jeans over my warmer, boots, thick gloves and a hat with extensions to cover my ears yet I can still feel the cold of Edinburgh get into my bones, literally. Exploring the city on foot helped.

I tried walking as fast as I can to heat up my body but the intermittent rain and gale still left me wet and cold. At one point, I can barely open my mouth. My mouth was literally frozen shut! Oddly, I missed the hot and humid weather of the Philippines! One thing nice though, you do not sweat here and probably can get away without taking a bath for a month.

My body may be cold, but the sites, the people I met and the company I was with kept my heart warm...
